Dance movement therapy concerns the psychotherapeutic use of movement with the aim of stimulating and increasing emotional, social, cognitive and physical integration, bringing benefits to the individual’s well-being.

The main objective is to improve psycho-motor cognition by using dance as a tool, not by replacing medical or psychological interventions, but by supporting and following paths linked to affectivity, sensitivity, emotion.

Dance movement therapy offers a wide area of practice, is aimed to children, adolescents, adults and is applied in the field of education and rehabilitation with people who have relational or psychological difficulties, physical or sensory disabilities.
